A little about me

I’m a senior at Kennesaw State University, majoring in Interactive Design with a minor in Data Science. My journey into UX began in 2020 when I watched Ian Spalter on Abstract: The Art of Design. At the time, I didn’t know anything about UX, but that episode sparked my curiosity, specifically the idea that design could empower people and help them feel supported and understood.

I started college in Computer Science but quickly realized I was more drawn to how people experience technology. Interactive Design felt like the perfect fit, a multidisciplinary field where I could combine my interest in psychology and design with creativity, empathy, and research to craft meaningful experiences.

UX lets me draw on both introspection and empathy, recognizing my own thoughts and emotions while understanding those of others. Through reflection, I strengthen my research skills, uncover the right problems, and create human-centered solutions.

David Travis’ quote, “Great design doesn't live inside designers. It lives inside your users' heads,” perfectly reflects how I approach every project, designing with and for the user at every step.
